Proposal for Project III

When I was a child growing up in the mid-south, one of the best holidays in the fall season was Fair Day. It was always a crazy week. Missing one day of school from the week just to go to the Liberty Land/Mid-South fair. "What other state does that?" I thought to myself as a child. It was great! My friends and I would ride our bikes to one friend house that lived around the corner from the fair and walk. We would always get totally OD from the rides and junk food for two days straight and pass out on our friend living room floor for a couple of hours. Those were the days. But now since the liberty Land/Mid-South is gone, due to Memphis money problems, we now have the Delta Fair in Cordova, TN.
So I decided to photograph the fair for my NIght Assignment since it that time of the year. 10 color images of the Delta Fair in Cordova, TN. It is told to be this best fair in Memphis right now, NO. If Liberty Land/Mid-South was still here, I believe I would have more and BETTER photographs.

Proposal for Project II

Growing up and going to different churches every Sunday was a boredom for me. I never could understand what the priest was talking about nor did I want to be there because of the rules and beliefs, but the one thing I love about going to church was the architecture and stain glass with the outside light beaming through. I thought of it as peace, cleansing, and have these amazing thoughts as if church was heaven. Kinda of funny but at the age of 24, I still have those feelings and thoughts and this is coming from a person who does not go to church. So for my assignment I was to come up with 10 images involving "Daylight" with any subject. Church was the first subject that came to mine. I really want to my viewers to feel the same sense I felt and still feel when I walk into a church. Religion or not, I feel everyone has that same sense of feeling somewhere deep within them.
